She is also really verbal--she says 'no' and uses it correctly and the same with 'down' when she doesn't want to be held. Her use of dada is also much more accurate--for a while there it was just part of her babble. She is saying some new stuff, like the 'Sh' sound (which sounds like something it shouldn't sometimes) and this new thing that is like gagooguh...and requires some weird facial movements and a bit of spitting. It is really fun because whenever she says it (and it is often) she gets this really intent and serious look on her face and you can tell she is thinking hard and really means it. Someday, we might figure out what she's talking about?!
She had a playdate on Saturday with one of my co-workers kids who has a 3 year old son and a daughter born the exact same day as Evie. They did a pretty good job playing somewhat together and no huge tears over favorite toys being borrowed, so that was good. Hope, who is the exact same age as Evie, is a real cutie and she does this fun crab crawl thing which is hard to describe but she just looks totally like a crab doing it and she is SUPER fast!

And drum roll please...can you believe Evie will be a year old in exactly one week? I know people say it goes by fast but it goes by FASTER than fast! Hard to believe she's been around 358 days already.
