Daddy's back at work

Daddy went back to work this week, which means less sleep for me. I am trying really hard to let him sleep from whenever he drops Frankie off to me (Frank usually eats his last meal by 9 or 10 and then daddy lets me sleep until he gets hungry again) around 11:30-1 and when he gets up for work at 5:30. There are usually two feedings, at least, during that time period each lasting at least 60 minutes. This often results in mommy getting 4-5 hours of sleep total in a night. I guess I should be thankful? I know Max is getting about the same but he usually only sleeps 6 hours a night routinely.

Poor Frank has had gas and 'reflux' really bad. He wakes up just sort of writhing around and then toots and falls back to sleep, or spits up (comes out his mouth and nose poor guy) and wants to eat again. Right now I am not eating: dairy, nuts--tree or peanut--and have limited my salsa intake to see if any of those are the culprit. He is having a really bad day today and I am not 100% sure what I ate but I am guessing he cannot handle any spice, as I had black bean chicken for dinner. I feel so bad that we have to go through this extensive trial and error process :(. I really hope that I can go back to dairy and nuts at some point because finding good proteins with those out of the mix has been interesting.

He is an awesome little guy though! He is very snuggly and must be going through a growth spurt because he slept almost all day yesterday and had a decent night last night. I tried weighing us today and I think he is nudging the 8 lb mark. He is so tiny! He also is a peeing machine. Yesterday he marked a good portion of the doctor's office (exam bed, floor and a cabinet) and the wall behind his pack-n-play. I don't know where he stores it all but he is crazy hard to keep dry. On Monday after his bath I had just wrapped him in a brand-new white towel and he came at me from both ends. So we did a second bath--that'll learn him!

Evie still loves being a big sister. We let her sit with him on her lap/boppy and she just hold his hands or kisses he feet and loves all over him. It is very cute and she has been really good overall about being gentle. Still working on patient but you can't have everything.

Hoping to send out the announcements soon, they should be coming in the mail this weekend:)
