Pictures!

Evie now has 2 teeth and is over 11 months old which is just crazy. She has officially been alive (outside of mommy) for every single one of the 12 months in a year! Here are some recent pictures:

Not so lazy Saturday

Today, Evie played with mommy and daddy for quite a while after getting up and then went to visit grandpa who watched her while we were out with friends. She took a two hour nap cradled in his arms and grandpa thought that was awesome!

Then she went with mommy to the store for a few minutes and we visited at the Sabs house. It was lots of fun and here are some of the highlights:

Swimmin' with the fishes!

We went to the pool with Evie and lots of Fishes! Allison, Audry, Sarah, Carrie and Chris were all there and we had so much fun! We're all doing lessons together in the Winter too--and baby Katie, Glenn and Abby are joining in on the fun and Jack might come too! Basically it's like every baby friend Evie has will be there--too cool!
Evie picked out her own swimsuit--I think she enjoyed the shiny!
Evie wasn't sure at first, but then she had a ball. Allison had been before and loves the pool but Audry had only been once before I think and it had been a long time for her--she had fun too!
She really enjoyed when daddy tugged her along behind him!

It's Beginning to Look Like...HALLOWEEN!

Trick-or-treat...Evie is about to experience her very first Halloween ever! To prep she posed with friends in costume. The first set includes Katie (daisy), Abby (dinosaur), Allison (octopus) and the Juner as a lobster. This was all done in the middle of a football game and I am starting to seriously believe that she is not a true fan--every single time we have gone somewhere to watch an OSU game she has ended up melting down completely which is no fun for anyone and stresses me out! No clue what it is about watching a football game with friends that equals pissed Evie?!?!

Ok, so here they are:
Evie doing a practice run as ShrekEvie and Baby Katie looking at each other
Allison and Evie, Our 2 Sea-Life CreaturesEverybody, notice the Juner melting down and Allison very curious about her costume!

Afterwards, Evie and mommy went to Glenn's Halloween Party. Glenn is about 2 months younger than Evie and is super cool--he has thrown his very own party already! He is the Chipotle burrito. While Evie was still a bit of the pissy pants, she did do better at this one. Probably because there was no football?

Evie June ate her first fruit

Evie had her first fruit this week--bananas! She's not sure if they are really better than veggies or not. She has been very talkative and is teething hard-core--we can feel one coming in every time she shoves our hand and fingers into her mouth! We're worried she might be a carnivore:) But since everything goes in the mouth seems unlikely.

Otherwise, she is rolling all over the place and chatting up a storm! She just has tons to say and we wish we were advanced enough to understand everything--clearly she is a smart cookie. The folks at daycare predict she will be an early crawler--which she is really trying to figure out how to do, but her 5th limb--her head--is holding her back. She has also started to give hugs more regularly and she gives the best hugs. Very snugalicious!

We've survived 2 of mommy's 5 trips for the year. This week I was gone for 2 nights in a row which was harder than my first trip but it went ok.

Here are some fun pics:

Daddy's 30 & Go Bucks!

This was a big week for us--mommy started teaching her 3 week class at Newark and Daddy turned 30! We all had daddy's birthday off and it was super fun, including lots of cuddling:
Daddy loved his present--30 CDs off his list including a special one from me, a lullaby version of his favorite Metallica songs. It has put me to sleep two night in a row already!

Then today was my first OSU football game. We went to the Sabs house to see all of my friends who could come: Uncle Gary, Holly, Steve, Beth, Paul, Abby, Allison, Katie...it was lots of fun after I finally let mommy put me down for a nap! We sang for daddy's birthday (Abby said 30 was a BIG number) and I finally got to wear my awesome buckeye cheerleader outfit from Patty-I looked sooo cute!

I also got to have lots of pictures taken with my friends in their Buckeye gear too. Here are my favorite pictures:
There are even more pictures of me and my friends in our buckeye gear here! Let mommy know if you want her to send you some!

Evie's a 'Keeper'

Evie did great at daycare this week. She had a few meltdowns on her first day but no reports of anything for the rest of the week--she is an amazing baby! When I picked her up on Thursday afternoon she was listening to one of the ladies at Merry Moppet singing wheels on the bus very intently--it was hard to get her attention! Then, Evie was trying to mimic the arm motions for 'round and round' and it was sooo cute.

According to the folks at daycare they usually don't put infants in the excersaucer until they are a little older than Evie is...but Evie was so strong they tried her in it and she of course was a champ--she loves the one we have here at home and her 'saucer at Nana's so no surprise there:) Geon said Evie did better in the excersaucer than a lot of their older kids! 5 days at daycare and she's already trying to show up the other little kids!

On Friday daddy picked her up and Sarai said she was a 'keeper' and told him we aren't allowed to move--if we are considering moving Sarai said she would be happy to take Evie--like we'd ever give her up. It is great knowing that they love her and we've seen her cuddling with the 3 teachers in her room there and playing with the 'lunch lady' which is nice--she has lots of new adult friends and many baby friends to come too.

Wednesday, Glenn and Bethany came to visit--Glenn is getting so big. At 2 months he is over 11 lbs which is huge since he was 5 lbs 11oz at birth. Here they are together:
Notice Ms E is eating the toy bar of her bouncy seat--she will stick anything in her mouth. Including:

a mitten, the couch cushions, toys and of course Aunt Laurie's nose!

Otherwise not much too terribly new with Evie. She loves to laugh and mimic us laughing at her, particularly when daddy laughs at her. Too fun. Here are some cute pics just for fun:
oh, did I forget to mention she plays on the computer now too?

Bomb-diggity Evie Pt. 2

Evie also got to play with loads of friends this week, including visiting mommy at work:
